Neptuno's Club Restaurant
A long-running beach club and seafood restaurant on Boca Chica's lagoon, with daybeds by the water
About Neptuno's Club Restaurant
Neptuno's has been part of Boca Chica since the late 1980s and is the other big name on the waterfront at the west end of Calle Duarte, a short walk from Boca Marina. It works as a beach club by day, with loungers and beds set over the calm lagoon of Boca Chica Beach, and as a sit-down seafood restaurant at lunch and dinner. It holds about 4.2 out of 5 from more than 3,000 Google reviews, and reviews from January to August 2026 confirm it is operating.
What to order: fresh fish with tostones (twice-fried green plantain), ceviche, which one 2026 reviewer singled out as very fresh, grilled seafood and the flan de coco (coconut flan) for dessert. The cocktails get good marks too.
What to know first. It is expensive by local standards: one May 2026 reviewer paid about $135 for a Caesar salad, a fish plate with tostones and two beers, and felt the portions did not match the price. Taxes and service add close to 30 percent to menu prices. The host has enforced a business-casual dress code in the evening, so do not arrive in a wet swimsuit for dinner. In August 2026 a reviewer mentioned part of the venue being remodeled, and the restaurant's own website showed only a placeholder page, so call before you go to check which areas are open.
Practical details: Calle Duarte #5, Boca Chica. Phone and WhatsApp +1 809-523-4703; reservations also through OpenTable. Listings show it open daily from about 10:00 AM to midnight.
Who it is for: travelers who want a day on a beach bed with table service, and couples looking for a dressed-up seafood dinner near the airport. Not for: budget travelers or families who want a quick, cheap plate; try the fish stalls on the public beach, or the islet walk at La Matica and Los Pinos with a snack instead.
