What this site is

Beaches.do is an independent guide to the beaches of the Dominican Republic. Each beach page covers what you actually need to decide: how calm the water is, what the sand is like, how much sargassum to expect, how to get there and what's nearby.

Who writes it

Beaches.do is edited by Alessandro Martinetti. Every page shows when it was last reviewed, and we update pages when conditions, prices or access change.

How we keep it independent

• No business pays to be listed or reviewed.
• Some booking links may earn us a commission at no cost to you. They're always marked, and they never decide what we recommend.
